Introduction

Vaelix: Tactical Challenge is a browser-based 3v3 PvP tactics scenario from developer gowebb. Both sides commit to their moves in secret during the same planning phase, then watch every choice resolve together. There are no dice rolls or critical hits to blame: the outcome comes down to how well you anticipated your opponent. In this first challenge, you command Rook, Kael and Vex at the Sky Arena against three wounded enemies. The opposing bot is the one used in the full game and begins planning at the same time you do. Your objective is to take down all three foes before the arena gives way, with five rounds as par. Play begins by selecting a hero and choosing an action, then tapping a highlighted tile. Each hero can act up to twice per round, with every action paid from one shared energy pool. Attacks target tiles rather than heroes, which means you need to predict where an enemy will stand. When you press READY, both plans collide and the round plays out. Everything happens in your browser through the genuine Vaelix combat system, and no account is needed. The full game is free on iOS and Android, scheduled for November 1, and includes ranked leagues, eight Heroes with Variants, six arenas, private rooms with friends and a monthly Season Pass, with no ads.
