Introduction

Orb Wrecker - HYPERDRIVE is a browser shooter from developer wehavegamesathome, tagged as a single-file game. Every run places you in a sealed tile arena with a draining time battery and a stream of bouncing orbs. Break the terrain, open green and blue ore veins, split shots on prism blocks, trigger bomb blocks in chains, and launch black holes that pull enemies into the grinder. Skimming enemy bullets without being hit earns bonus shards and feeds a combo, so greed is rewarded. At the eleven-second mark, a Poly-Hydra Titan arrives with orbiting skull-heads that shoot back. Kill it to unlock the next sector; if you die, you keep the shards you gathered. Those shards feed a 31-node constellation with 150 upgrade levels spread across Core, Ballistics, Mining, Arcane and Economy, opening up extra orbs and bounces, chain lightning, orbital drones, an auto-turret and OMEGA capstones. There are nine sectors, plus a Boss Rush gauntlet on Normal, Overclock and Nightmare.
