New Games Today is a free directory of new free browser games released on itch.io. Using the site means accepting the short list below.

What the site is, and is not

• We list third-party games and link to the developer's itch.io page. The games are not ours.
• Titles, screenshots, cover art, descriptions and other game material belong to their developers and are credited with a link to the original page.
• We are not affiliated with itch.io or with any developer listed here, and we do not endorse a game by listing it.
• There are no accounts, no purchases and nothing for sale. No payment is ever taken on this site.

How write-ups are made

Facts such as tags, genre, controls and session length come from the developer's own itch.io page. The summary text is written from those facts with the help of an AI model, and we do not add details the developer did not publish. If a write-up is wrong, tell us through the Suggest a Game form and we will correct or remove it.

Accuracy and availability

Games are free and playable in a browser when we check them, and developers change or delete their pages at any time. We cannot promise that a listed game still exists, still plays, or is still free, and the site is provided as it is, without warranty. Nothing here is legal, medical or financial advice.

Using the site

• Read it, link to it, quote a short extract with a link back. Do not republish whole pages as your own.
• Do not scrape at a rate that degrades the site. See agents.txt and llms.txt.
• The suggestion form is for itch.io game pages. Do not use it to send anything unlawful, or automated spam.

Links out

Following a link to itch.io, YouTube or a developer's page puts you on someone else's site, under their terms and privacy policy.

Changes

These terms can change as the site changes; the date below moves with them. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory law where you live.
